Artist's Comments

So here is what I came up with. Thanks to everyone who left me some wonderful inspiration and messages on the lineart! :boogie:

please FULL VIEW this to see details.

So for this I wanted to just play with using brighter, richer colors and fun designs and my own aesthetics to make a pleasing image. I picked the colors via suggestion and also from inspiration drawn from artists like ~DigiAvalon and *Michelle84. It was intended as a secondary gift for *norli If she's still around >.>; But also as a kind of "thanks for making cool art!" to all 3 artists mentioned above. Everyone needs a good spellcasting picture in their gallery as well. I think this picture has a lot of movement that I like and the body of the changewoman is well done I think. I've been doing so much monotone-ish stuff that i wanted a change.

I have been so spoiled by Painter!! I wanted to try and preserve my lineart, because I liked it, and it was SUCH an effort to get me to keep things on seperate layers!! I've been doing so much traditional painting as well as doing one-layered digital paintings that in the end I gave in and flattened all but 2 layers to just paint. :crying: It's so weird, but I've come up with pretty effective ways of painting digitally that I can't seem to stop, haha! ^_^;

Anyway, any more comments and critiques are much welcomed, I think if I do end up getting a prints account I'll make this one of my prints! :boogie:

EDIT: Ooo, lookie, I edited it. I'm having mixed feelings about this piece now, but I still think it turned out well =p

Daily Deviation

Given 2007-01-27

be my druidess -colored- by =kittehness is the piece I chose for a DD feature after browsing her gallery for about an hour. You can see I had a tough time to choose from such a beautiful collection of images. Anyway, make sure to check the rest of the gallery ! (Suggested by ~CrazySwedishGirl and Featured by `nighty)

Hmm first before i cc this I love it, so i am faveing it so bad!!! :nod: next sence you want ACC I think more could have been worked into the bg, I like what you have started but maybe just a bitt more apparent, and a few more trres to incircal the image. I love the texture in the costume, that is really well done! This is a lovely pic, I can't belive you mentioned me you are so sweet, and those other two artist rock and inspire me alot too ^___^ :hug: keep up the great work you art is amazing my dear :nod:

i REALLY like her belly.
my only suggestion would be to make the backround a little more finished. like, the tree is awesome, so maybe add some more and give it some depth. or something.
belly = :heart:

Aye sir, thank you! I was wondering what exactly to do with the BG. The older version that I stopped coloring had a much more detailed, finished tree and I didn't know if I wanted to continue with that or not. I'll work on it! ^_^
